Konstantina Angeletou

Co-Founder & CEO

Konstantina Angeletou was born and raised on the island of Skopelos.

She graduated from the post-graduate programme in Cultural Management: Theatre, Music and Dance of the Universidad Complutense of Madrid, which she attended with an ICCMU scholarship. Her first degree is in Business Management, from the Technological Education Institute of Piraeus, with specialisation in Marketing and International Relations.

From a young age she took on seasonal jobs in tourism enterprises, and as a student she worked for Greenpeace Greece. She later worked in cultural organisations, festivals and major events in Madrid, until 2009. She was employed as a production assistant and manager, project manager, and gained significant experience in promotion, communication and public relations departments.  (Asociación Cultural Plural Ensemble, IV Festival Commedia Della Arte, El Teatro del Finikito, IV Encuentros de Creación en Maggalia)  .

In 2009 she worked for the Alternative Theatre Network of Spain (Red de Teatros Alternativos) as production manager and project manager.  This experience was very informative about how cultural networks operate.  Since then she has been envisioning the creation and sustainable operation of cultural networks in Greece. 

She worked for a number of years in an accounting agency in Skopelos, where she gained useful accounting and financial knowledge.   In 2012 she was employed by the Skopelos Municipality, in the tourism committee department, where she also served as a member, and she participated in several international tourism exhibitions (Berlin, Moscow, Bucharest).

She has taken part with presentations and speeches in conferences on cultural management and in 2015 she was invited to present a speech at the Universidad Complutense of Madrid.

She has participated in the following international capacity building programmes:  Tandem Turkey Start Create Cultural Change, phase I, 2016 and BECC - ENCC Staff exchange programme by the ENCC while she is also a member of MitOst, IETM, the Cultural Heritage Management Consultants Society (ESDIAPOK) and the Economic Chamber of Greece. 

She currently resides in Skopelos on a permanent basis, and travels frequently. She enjoys going sailing and dancing.

Maria Psarrou

Co-Founder, Vice President

Maria Psarrou  was born in Athens in 1982. She studied Marketing and Communication at the Athens University of Economics and Business and got her postgraduate degree in Cultural Policy, Management and Communication from the department of Communication, Media, and Culture of Panteion University, where she also preparing her doctoral thesis on the subject of: "Local government as an operator for the promotion of modern Greek culture through the organisation of festivals". Her research interests include: cultural and regional policy, cultural management and marketing, place marketing and branding. 
From 2005 to 2010 she gained a broad range of professional experience in the cultural and creative industries (private, public and tertiary sector), as project manager, trainer or scientific associate. In particular, she worked as Organisation and Promotion Manager of the Events Program in the Municipal Development Company of Korthi, Andros, as Special Associate of the Mayor of Keratsini on issues of Culture, Communication and European Programs, and as manager in the Municipal Enterprise for Culture of Keratsini.
She has also presented seminars organised by Public and Private educational organisations on issues of Cultural Management and Marketing, Public Relations, Marketing Research, Economic Theory Elements, Business Organisation & Management.
She has taken part in conferences with announcements and presentations on the subjects of cultural management, cultural marketing and festivals.
She has published articles and academic papers on issues of cultural policy, festivals, cultural marketing and cultural development. 
She is a member of the  International Scientific Committee for Documentation of Cultural Heritage (CIPA), the European Association of Cultural Researchers, the International Festival and Event Association, Europa Nostra and the "Diazoma" association. 
She is also a member in academic bodies in the field of marketing and communication and a member of the editing team of CityBranding.gr.

Nikolaos Makris

Director, Video artist

Nikolas Makris was born in 1981 in Athens and was raised in Larissa. 

He is a graduate of the Department of Banking and Financial Management of the University of Piraeus, the School of Drama "Archi" of N. Karra (2006) and holds a Bachelor in Media Production -  Film Directing from the Metropolitan College in cooperation with Queen Margaret University (2014).

In 2011-2012 he lived in Los Angeles, where he trained in film making, and continued his acting studies in the Beverly Hills Playhouse and acting on camera in the New Collective LA.

As an actor, he has taken part in many plays, in productions of the National Theatre, as well as TV series.

Among other things, he has directed the plays: Jean Giraudoux's "Ondine", Happy New York on Stage Live, "Les kai itan Hthes" in the Municipal Music School of Larissa, and has written and directed a musical ("Yperparagogis"),  a short-flim ("Kommati apo Ourano") and the promotional short "Skopelos - We are waiting for you".

He has also worked in the production and direction of corporate videos and company events.

Έλλη Φαμελιάρη

Βοηθός παραγωγής

Η  Έλλη γεννήθηκε το 1992 στην Αθήνα και μεγάλωσε στη Σκόπελο.  Αποφοίτησε απο το Τμήμα Διαχείρισης Πολιτισμικού Περιβάλλοντος και Νέων Τεχνολογιών του Πανεπιστημίου Πατρών, με κατεύθυσνη την Διαχείριση Πολιτισμικών Πόρων .Κατα την διάρκεια των τελευταίων εξαμήνων των σπουδών της έκανε την πρακτική της άσκηση στο Μουσείο Μπενάκη στα τμήματα των Εκδόσεων, Συντήρησης έργων τέχνης και Βιβλιοθήκης του μουσείου. 
Μετά το τέλος των σπουδών της εργάστηκε ως εθελόντρια στο τμήμα των Εκπαιδευτικών Προγραμμάτων του Μουσείου Μπενάκη στις συλλογές της αρχαίας, λαογραφικής και νεοελληνικής τέχνης.  Η εμπειρία της ως βοηθός παραγωγής κατά την διάρκεια του 5ου Φεστιβάλ Παραδοσιακών Χορών Διαμαντής Παλιολόγος, την έχει εμπνεύσει για την μετέπειτα πορεία της στον χώρο του Πολιτισμού.
Εκτός των βασικών της σπουδών έχει παρακολουθήσει σεμινάρια που αφορούν τη Τέχνη όπως επίσης και την Πολιτιστική Διαχείριση , εμπλουτίζοντας τις γνώσεις της πάνω στο αντικείμενο των σπουδών και των ενδιαφερόντων της.

Eirini PIttakidou

Project Manager

Η Ειρήνη  γεννήθηκε και μεγάλωσε στην Άνδρο. Από μικρή ηλικία ασχολήθηκε με την μουσική μαθαίνοντας πιάνο και συμμετέχοντας στις χορωδίες του Μουσικού συλλόγου Άνδρου.
Σπούδασε στο Τεχνολογικό Ίδρυμα Αθηνών στο τμήμα Διοίκησης επιχειρήσεων και αποφοίτησε με την ειδικότητα της Διοίκησης Έργου. Εργάστηκε κυρίως στοον τομέα της επικοινωνίας και της προώθησης προοϊόντων. Στην Άνδρο γύρισε το 2011 και σε συνεργασία με την εταιρεία Otherwise
δημιούργησε τον οδηγό των επαγγελματιών του νησιού andros guide σε έντυπη οκαι ηλεκτρονική μορφή και τον χάρτη andros map. Σήμερα εργάζεται σε τοπική επιχείρηση στο κομμάτι της οργάνωσης και διοίκησης. Καλλιτεχνική φύση καθώς είναι ασχολείται με τις κατασκευές με υφάσματα, γυαλί, ξύλο και άλλα υλικά.

Nafsika Palaiologou

Greek dances, Artistic Director 

Nafsika Palaiologou  was born in 1985 and grew up in Glossa, a beautiful village of the island of Skopelos. She lived there until she was 18, and it is where is received her basic education in school,  as well as in classical music and  Greek folk dancing. Her first dancing steps were taught to her by her father and mother, Diamantis and Christina Palaiologou, who were the island's dance teachers. She then continued her studies in the Department of Primary Education of the University of Crete, and completed her classical music studies in the Elliniko Music School. She also attended traditional dance lessons in the Lyceum Club of Greek Women of Crete and the Vrakoforoi Dance Group.  

She also attended a series of training seminars on subjects pertaining to the traditions of Crete. Since 2007 she has worked as a teacher in Athens and Schimatari, always staying highly interested in folk dancing and participating in related seminars. Her first experiences as a dance teacher were in her island, following in her parents' footsteps.  

She later formed her own dance groups in Schimatari and Skopelos, giving dozens of performances in Greece and abroad, including in the "Dora Stratou" theatre, invited by UNESCO's International Dance Council.

Kostas Polymeros

PR Assistant

Kostas Polymeros,  was born in Athens in 1990. He studied Public Relations and Communication in the Technological Education Institute of Kefallonia. During 2014-2015 he worked in the public relations department of the Piraeus Port Authority and participated in large conferences and events (Economist-Posidonia) and later in the Authority's Marketing department.

He also participated in the organisation of the 1st Maritime Conference that took place in Andros, as well as the organisation of seminars on the environment and alternative waste management.

He is fluent in English, and apart from social media, he also likes to discuss about everything under the sun.

VOLUNTEERS

Plegma consists of a large number of volunteers and friends that support its actions. More than seventy volunteers take part in our various activities, and they increase every year.
